Live concert - Chicky Stoltz

Wednesday July 29th Doors open at 5pm Music 7-9pm Chicky Stoltz is getting on double nickels. Over forty years as a musician, singer, songwriter, and recording artist with five albums to date and a sixth on the way. Shared the stage with and opened for many of the best (Patti Smith, Paw, Duke Robillard, Sara Cox, Darien Brahms). He performs throughout the Northeast as a solo artist as well as with many regional musicians. There is no end to him. Except for that one. Some have mentioned Tom Waits, Bruce Springsteen, and Lou Reed when listening to his music. Chicky was most honored when someone referenced filmmaker David Lynch when referring to his music. Thrilling for sure. The music explores many fictional stories of fraud, land development/environmentalism, technology, and death. Somehow done with tongue squarely in cheek. Chicky’s fifth album, Polecat, is a full length studio retrospective covering material from his first four home studio albums.
