Scrap yarn in an Aran weight for Provisional Cast On. NEEDLES 5.5 mm (US9) 24”/60 cm Circular or Straight Needles. 4.5 mm (US7) 24”/60 cm Circular or Straight Needles (to place live sts from Provisional Cast On, onto spare while grafting ends together using Kitchener St). 5 mm (H-8) Crochet Hook (for Provisional Cast On). NOTIONS Tapestry Needle for weaving in ends. GAUGE - unblocked Over Chevron pattern. 20 sts & 20 rows = 4”/10 cm. MEASUREMENTS Unblocked: Width: 14”/35.5 cm. Circumference: 56”/142.25 cm. Blocked: Width: 17”/43.25 cm. Circumference: 52”/132 cm. The circumference gets smaller after blocking because of stretching width-wise.
