Enjoy a night of murder, mystery and great food as we give you and your friends the chance to play the suspects in “A First Class Murder” but will you be our Top Detective? Set on the Titanic where guests gather in the first class dining room at the First Officer's table but two of the party are missing! There is murder, blackmail, theft and more than enough secrets aboard the Titanic but are they all linked? And just who would commit murder on deck? All the passengers seem to be escaping their pasts as they head for New York with some less willing than others to embark on a new life in the Big Apple. But just how far will one go to protect their future? Arrive at 7pm for a welcome drink and meet your dinner companions and then the fun begins…… A two course dinner of a luxurious creamy Fish Pie and tangy Lemon & White Chocolate Cheesecake will be served, please let us know of any dietary requirements in the Notes section when booking your tickets. Please advise of any dietary requirments in the "Order Note" in the checkout cart when booking. Not sure that a murder mystery is for you? Here's some Q&A's Do I Need To Dress Up? This one is up to you – you don’t have to but if you fancy turning out in style then get together with your friends and go for it! Am I Expected To Perform? We shall be asking for volunteers to take part and there is information and guidance to help get you into character, but don’t worry – you don’t have to get involved at all. Is A Murder Mystery Scary? There’s more humour than horror so they’re definitely not scary! However, they can be quite involved so they are not recommended for under 16’s. What If I Don’t Know What To Ask? You might not have a question immediately but something will occur to you during the evening. If not, someone else on your table is bound to have an idea – even if it’s a complete red herring – and they’ll want to ask questions. There’s no pressure to ask questions but they’re very friendly and will soon have you playing along with them. Will We Be On A Group Table With People I Don’t Know? We have tables of two, four and one table for six people, so it depends on how many tickets you purchase and the availability. Don’t worry about that though because it means you will have more heads to help you work out whodunit and ask questions. What If I Can’t Hear? The actors are used to projecting their voices so everyone can hear but if you are struggling to hear please let the actors know so they can stand near you when they are answering questions and will raise their voices further. They’re very approachable. Can We Take Photos? Yes, please do take photos and send them to us! We’ll be taking photographs during the evening to publicise the event, so please let us know when booking if you prefer not to be featured. Is there wine available during the evening? Yes, we'll have wines, beer and soft drinks available throughout the evening. Is there parking available close by? Yes we have plenty of free parking next to our cafe and you are welcome to leave your car here overnight (at your own risk of course!) if you choose to take one of our taxis into Richmond afterwards.
