Beginner Woodburning (Burlington)

Woodburning combines drawing and sketching skills with the ancient practice of using heat to discolor wood permanently to create lasting images. This workshop is appropriate for beginners who have never tried this fulfilling craft but want to try it before committing to the equipment and space. It is also perfect for Father's Day or team building activities. In this workshop, you’ll learn proper woodburning techniques to personalize two wooden coasters or a charcuterie board, then seal your creations to protect against water damage. We will cover important topics including: Wood selection Woodburner types and tips Temperature settings Outline vs. Shading Design recommendations for beginners Each ticket option is for one attendee only. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer the guest option for this workshop.
