Hops: Simcoe | Chinook | Southern X Style: Black IPA With the weather taking a sharp drop in temp here, it seemed the perfect time to release one of our brewers favourite styles and a polarising one at that. This Black IPA was born from some late night, and frankly dark, beer chat between our closest industry mates. It’s not often at Bracket that the beer's name is decided before the beer is brewed, but in the case of Intrusive Thought, that’s exactly what happened. Dark and bitter with a subtle roastiness, Intrusive Thought moves away from the Cascadian style BIPA’s we usually brew and plants itself firmly at the other end of the style. Hopped with Simcoe, Chinook and Southern Cross, Intrusive Thought comes in waves of pithy grapefruit, bitter orange, powdery cacao and pine. 7.8% ABV 440ml cans
