The drama is a fast-paced romantic comedy blending historical and contemporary settings through time-slip storytelling, following the explosive romance between Shin Seori (played by Im Ji-yeon) — an obscure actress possessed by the soul of a notorious Joseon villainess — and Cha Segye (played by Heo Nam-jun), a ruthless conglomerate heir dubbed a monster of capitalism. The series captivated audiences with its dynamic narrative and the bittersweet romance connecting the two leads across past and present lives.
