Lone Star Farm Animals – AN/13 Cow, moulded in WHITE plastic, with black stencil-sprayed markings, dark grey hooves, pink udders, eyes and muzzle – complete with rare ‘Made in England’ tag – introduced in 1961 by Lone Star as “Something new in Farm Animals. These precision-made [54mm scale] models all have movable legs and heads which immediately bring them to life and provide unlimited play value. Boxed in dozens now available, with many more to follow” – Actually proved to be very short-lived (discontinued in 1962) and Lone Star only produced five different articulated farm animals.
