Aguadulce Broad Bean organic

Aguadulce broad bean is a very productive, easy broad bean seed to grow. It is one of the tastiest fava bean. This variety produces slender pods of 23cm long which are full of delicious white seeded flavoursome beans. It is a great variety for autumn sowing. The simplest way to cook is to steam them for just a few minutes until tender. Some like to pick them very young and eat them as mange-tout, pods and all. For summer harvest, Sow in Feb/March. Harvest in the spring or early summer. Sow outdoor in the Spring when soil temperatures reach 15-16 degrees C.Sow 10-15 cm apart. Harvest from early summer. For winter harvest, Sow seed direct in the ground in October and November 5 cm (2") deep, spacing of 20cm (8") with 60cm (2ft) row gap (minimum). Sow in double rows at least 30 cm apart. If planting more than one double row allow a metre between them.Need staking.
