How to Brew Simmer one dip bag in 250 ml of water: start with cold or room-temperature water, bring it slowly to the boil, then reduce the heat and simmer gently, covered, for 5–7 minutes. For a lighter cup, infuse one dip bag in freshly boiled water, covered, for 10–12 minutes. Naturally sweet from liquorice root; add palm jaggery or honey if desired.
