Pair of rare armchairs by Pierre Jeanneret c. 1960 featuring catalog markings from Chandigarh and new custom cushions. Pierre Jeanneret was a Swiss architect and furniture designer who collaborated with his cousin, Le Corbusier, on the design and planning of Chandigarh, the capital city of the Indian states of Punjab and Haryana. Jeanneret played a significant role in designing furniture for various government buildings and housing projects in Chandigarh during the 1950s and 1960s.
