Artist Reflections Anyone who has stood at the Kotel and watched the sun rise over its stones understands the awe that comes from that warm, humbling light spilling over your body and soul. This artwork aims to capture that experience. I blended a slow shutter speed to convey the movement of those gathered below with a fast shutter to freeze the morning birds above, framing it all through an ultra-wide angle that looks up at the Wall and expands the plaza beyond. This moment is now eternal, and the light of the Eternal One radiating through this place can thus continue to pierce through us as well.
