There are some lacquer cracks and dings to the finish, that do not go down to the wood, as well as minor scuffs to the headstock/neck. The serial number and appointments are consistent with a 1975 Fender. The pickups are grey bottom, flush pole piece pickups dated 1975. The pots are dated 1974. The saddles have the code 027037 on the underside, consistent with the period. The pickguard and other plastics are consistent in style for a 1975 Stratocaster but cannot be verified as 1975 through codes/dates/etc. Pickup resistance was measured with a cable, leaving the pickups installed. This will give a a slightly lower reading but prevents the pickups/solder/wiring from being unnecessarily disassembled. The guitar comes with the original case but it is in a very used state and latches and handle are rusted or unreliable. A new case would be needed for regular use.
