Trail Wide Brim Hat

A fisherman's hat is what you wear when the sun gives no quarter and there is no shade: on the boat, on an open trail, in the field. A cap protects the face and lets the ears and the back of the neck burn; the ordinary bucket covers the ears and stops there. This one goes all the way: a wide brim around the whole head and a neck flap that comes down to the collar. The Trail hat is made of a lightweight synthetic fabric, the kind that dries in minutes after a dip or a sweat, and weighs almost nothing on the head.
