Insanity Curse

Do you want to cause the unimaginable? This is a spell to hijack your target's mind. It makes the psyche of someone crumble, plunging them into a world of horrifying hallucinations and indefinite madness. The consequences will severely disrupt their daily life and relationships to the point of no return. This insanity spell falls into the severe hex category. Considering the variety of effects it can apply and its consequences, it definitely is a curse at the peak of its malefic power. The majority of demonic hexes cause paranoia and psychological distress, but this ritual is entirely focused on mental destruction, delivering these effects in a more focused and catastrophic form. There is immense power in the act of causing insanity. You will be the reason your target begins to doubt everything they know. You will be the cause behind decisions made in panic, irrational reactions, and the inability to recognize when a threat is real or imagined. You will make their own perception turn against them, until they can no longer distinguish what is real from what exists only in their mind. The target will also be harmed by the fact that mental health problems, despite their devastating consequences, are still underestimated because of the absence of visible physical symptoms. They will become another victim of the failures of the system: misdiagnoses, medication changes, contradictory assessments, failed treatments, and being passed from one professional to another without ever finding a solution. Their suffering will not go unnoticed or misunderstood. But eventually, they will be written off as a hopeless case. Although you must assume full responsibility for the consequences, I can confirm that the destructive effects of this curse remain confined to the target. Innocent parties are never harmed. They will be a danger to themselves, but not to others. This insanity curse is completed through the Invocation of two demons who cause madness and destruction: Ose and Shax. Ose is the demon who induces delusions: he hits with ferocity, ready to take any challenge. Ose's victim "will not think any other thing than that he is in verity that creature or thing he is changed into". You know those people who claim to be Princess Anastasia or the reincarnation of Joan of Arc? Ose is the demon behind this kind of delusion. Shax's skills in ruining someone's existence are exceptional. He doesn't need physical destruction or open confrontation. He prefers to inflict torment and destroy mental faculties, placing the target in a state of deep confusion where everything they believed they had becomes useless. But Shax is not entirely devoid of mercy. What he takes away, he promises to “carrieth it backe after 1200 yeares.” How generous of him... To complete this insanity curse, I use demons' sigils, amanita mushrooms, a rare, well-aged whisky of exceptional quality and exquisite flavor, particularly pleasing to demons, and my beautiful snake. The curse ends with one secret incantation burned inside a vessel, together with a blend of herbs and resins, sealing your target’s grim fate. After all, where do you run when the danger is your own mind?
