Hermit Thrush
One of my favorite parts of Maine was walking through the pincushion moss forest and listening to the hermit thrushes singing their beautiful spiraling songs :) Maine Scenes are inspired by my 2026 Artist Residency at the Audubon Seabird Institute's Hog Island Camp. During this residency, I made miniature sculptures inspired by the animals and ecosystems around me in coastal Maine. This piece is hand sculpted and painted - made with intention and love. Porcelain with underglaze, wire, glossy glaze.
