Kitchen Gadgets: Handmade Helpers for the Kitchen Put a little clay in your kitchen and a little personality into your cooking! In this fun, hands-on class, you’ll create four useful kitchen gadgets: an herb stripper, egg separator, garlic plate/grater, and a salt cellar with its own spoon. You’ll learn simple hand-building techniques while designing pieces that are both functional and uniquely yours. The first session is all about building and adding your own creative touches. After your pieces are bisque-fired, we’ll meet again two weeks later to glaze them with your choice of colors and finishes. Perfect for beginners and those with clay experience—come ready to get your hands dirty and have some fun! Pre-Registration is required. Basic clay tools and all materials are provided. Feel free to bring your own favorite clay tools if you have them. Wear comfortable clothing that can get a little messy.
