Quilted Zipper Pouch Class

Sewing with zippers really isn’t that scary— we promise! In this class, you’ll learn how to install a zipper while making a zippered pouch! You can never have too many zipper pouches (and they make great gifts)! This class is beginner-friendly although you should have completed a project or two before taking this class. We suggest starting with our Intro to the Sewing Machine Class, then take our Beginning Sewing class before tackling zippers. We'll meet for three hours for this class. You can work on our studio machines or bring your own machine to work on. You'll be responsible for bringing your own cotton fabric, fusible fleece, thread, and zipper. Materials List: (2) fat quarters (18"x21") (shop online here) (1) Fat Quarter of fusible fleece (18" x 24") (1) spool of coordinating all-purpose thread (1) zipper at least 10" long All materials can be purchased from us online or in-person. We offer 10% off materials for workshop participants, just use the code CLASSMATS and choose "local pick up" at checkout. We'll have your materials ready for you when you come for class.
