Directions for Use Clean the wood floor with IFT and blue pads according to the product label. Multiple cleanings may be necessary. Make sure the floor is completely free of dirt, oil, and other residue. Rinse thoroughly with clean water using damp mopping or an auto scrubber until the rinse water remains clear. Allow the floor to dry completely before applying TyKote. Shake or mix the container before use. Apply TyKote in a thin, uniform layer using a clean flat mop or rayon mop. Make sure every area intended for recoating is covered. Missed areas can result in poor topcoat adhesion. Allow approximately 1 hour of drying time with good ventilation and air movement. Apply the selected Betco water-based topcoat after TyKote has dried. Do not exceed the 6-hour recoat window.
