Retro Sapphire & Ruby 'Floral Bouquet' Brooch

Italian Retro Sapphire & Ruby 'Floral Bouquet' Brooch composed of 18k yellow gold. This brooch features 2 flowers, one is with 0.40 carats of Round Cut blue sapphires set into the spherical center and the other is with 0.40 carats of Round Cut rubies set into the spherical center. With linear cutouts to the 'petals.' The flowers are 'wrapped' at the center, set with 2 Single Cut diamonds that weigh 0.02 carats in total (set into 18k white gold). The brooch measures approximately 2 1/8" tall by 1 1/2" wide; weighs 12.54 grams. Stamped for Italian origin; with a 18k white gold pin component. Circa 1940-1950.
