Configured with the 8800 series fire-rated chassis and ETL storeroom trim, it provides secure outside lever control while allowing free exit at all times. The storeroom function keeps the outside trim locked until a key is used, and the trim automatically relocks once the key is withdrawn, making it ideal for storage areas, mechanical rooms, and other restricted spaces. Supplied less cylinder to accommodate your preferred keying system, this device is sized for 33" to 36" wide doors and includes hex key dogging.Features Grade 1 rim exit device engineered for durability in demanding commercial applications. Hex key dogging allows the push bar to be held in the retracted position for push/pull operation. Functional DetailsThe storeroom function provides secure, momentary key access from the outside. Turning the key retracts the latch to allow entry, and the outside lever remains locked at all times. When the key is removed, the trim relocks automatically while free egress is always available from the inside. Key unlocks trim; trim relocks when key is removed. Latchbolt retracted by key from outside or by push bar from inside. Outside lever always rigid (locked). Free egress at all times from inside. Arm Type DetailsThis device uses the ETL exit trim, a lever-style outside trim designed for storeroom function. The lever provides an ergonomic grip for authorized key access, while maintaining a rigid, locked position until unlocked by key.Included ComponentsIncludes the 8806 rim exit device chassis, ETL storeroom lever trim, fire-rated hardware, and mounting components.
