Underhill - Memorial for Air India for Brass Trio
Memorial for Air India for Brass Trio was composed in 2015 by Canadian composer Owen Underhill. On June 23, 1985, Air India Flight 182 exploded, killing all 329 innocents aboard including 268 Canadian citizens, 27 British citizens and 22 Indian citizens. This tragedy caused by political/religious extremist terrorists is the worst terrorist attack in Canadian history and is a very dark day in world history. On the 30th anniversary of the tragedy a special ceremony was held at Stanley Park in Vancouver, Canada dedicating a carved stone wall memorial with the names of the victims inscribed. Composer Underhill wrote this beautiful memorial for the occasion. The work is suitable for advanced performers and is about 2 1/2 minutes in length. Instrumentation is for Trumpet in B-flat, Horn in F and Trombone. Free PDF Sample Cherry Classics Music · Underhill - Memorial for Air India for Brass Trio
