Handcrafted one by one by our artisans in Jingdezhen, the Powerful Cassowary Mug features one of the most challenging and fluid Chino glazes in our new Aussie Animal Mug series. We chose a deep, dark blue to reflect the formidable presence of the Cassowary, while occasional blue crystallised details emerge through the glaze, adding an unexpected touch of depth and intrigue. Its dramatic colour and fluid glaze movement give this mug a character distinctly different from the rest of the series, while the signature Cassowary animal stamp celebrates one of Australia’s most striking native birds.
