Pink Flower Patch

Colored Pencils Framed by Artist 36" x 25" | 91 × 64 cm - Federico Uribe’s Pink Flower Patch transforms colored pencils into a dimensional field of pink, red, and yellow flowers, with a white rabbit and a dark animal figure nestled among the blooms. The densely layered pencil forms give the work texture and depth, inviting a closer look at the everyday materials behind each detail. Exhibited in Metamorphosis | Metamorfosis at the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art in 2023–2024, the piece brings together Uribe’s inventive craftsmanship and playful approach to the natural world.
