Beal Aerolite Melrose 89 Harness

One tie-in point, nothing else: the harness Beal built for gym rental Beal Aerolite Melrose 89: built for climbing gym rental Beal built the Aerolite for one job: gym rental, on top rope and auto belays. A sit harness stripped down on purpose, where the only thing that matters is the tie-in point. No gear loops, and that's deliberate. On a wall where dozens of beginners tie in every day, gear loops are the first source of error: someone takes one for the tie-in point and ties in there. Take the loops away and the mistake goes with them. The asymmetric colored leg loop does the same job. One look from across the room and the instructor sees whether the harness is on right. With a group of twenty, that detail saves time every session. One size, three adjustment buckles: a single model to stock, inspect and replace across the fleet. Then there's the look. The Aerolite takes the Aeroteam as its base and dresses it in the Melrose 89 collection: blocks of contrasting color, hard lines, a '90s feel that has nothing to do with the usual rental gear. The harness fleet becomes part of the gym's visual identity instead of one more consumable. Certified to EN 12277:2015+A1:2018 Type C and UIAA 105.
