Al-Nakhaal Side Table

A side table built from raw palm midribs (jereed), handmade by Egyptian artisans. The slatted top holds a lamp, a tray or your morning coffee, and the lower shelf keeps books and baskets close at hand. Fits like: A low side table at about sofa-seat height, so it sits neatly beside a sofa, an armchair or a low bed. Size: 55 × 45 × 40 cm (L × W × H) Material: Raw palm midribs (jereed), a light and rigid palm wood, cut, pinned and joined by hand. The fresh green-beige tone softens to a warm straw colour over time. Care: Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Use coasters under hot or wet items.
