The bowl shaped base of these classic Italian made colanders are perfect for draining hot pasta or vegetables as the water does not pool in the bottom. Traditional, handcrafted product designed to last. Ottinetti have been manufacturing since 1920 in Bevano, a small town on the shores of Lake Maggiore in Northern Italy. The 2 long handle colanders have a hook so you can rest it across a bowl. Ovenproof. Wash by hand - not dishwasher safe.
