Tregole Chianti Classico, 2024

Deep black plum, bright violets, black cherry, orange, cedar. Palate is friendly and bright, with red cherry and dried citrus notes. Tregole is a tiny 5 hectare estate in the village of Castellina. Proprietor and winemaker Sophie Conte runs the small family property which she bought from her parents after falling in love with Sangiovese. The Estate was a historic Estruscan watchtower at the highpoint of three valleys; It is unique, sitting at extremely high altitude for the region, resulting in a fresh "crunchy" style of Chianti Classico.
