Tomato Tumbler

Tomato Tumbler is one of the UK’s most popular trailing cherry tomato varieties, beloved for its compact habit, heavy crops and deliciously sweet fruit. Introduced during the late 20th century as breeding focused increasingly on patio-friendly vegetables, Tumbler quickly became a favourite for hanging baskets and containers. Unlike towering cordon tomatoes that seem intent on taking over the greenhouse, Tumbler stays neat and manageable while still producing masses of juicy cherry tomatoes throughout summer. Tumbler is a bush type, trailing tomato which is a determinate variety, as such it needs little care and attention and can be left to get on with producing loads of delicious fruits. Unlike cordon (Indeterminate) types, you don't need to pinch out the side shoots.
