HELL FIRE Wakizashi is an exclusive short sword where traditional craftsmanship meets an aggressive, fiery aesthetic. The sword is created for collectors looking for something powerful, visually striking and technically advanced. The deep red lacquered saya consists of dragon motifs executed in the traditional raden technique, where real seashells are inlaid in the lacquer and polished to a mirror-like surface. Blade The blade is made with a traditional sanmai construction , where a core of T10 high carbon steel is combined with an outer layer of folded steel . This construction provides an optimal balance between extreme sharpness, strength and flexibility, while the folded outer steel creates a vibrant and unique pattern in the blade. After forging, the blade has undergone advanced clay hardening , resulting in a natural and clear hamon . Each blade is hardened individually and therefore has its own expression, no two blades are exactly alike. Finally, the blade has been hand-polished in several steps to highlight both the hardening line and the structure of the steel and ensure a sharp and well-balanced edge. Tsuba + Tsuka The tsuba has an unusual and very characteristic construction inspired by chain links . The guard itself consists of a circular frame where interconnected segments form a ring around the center. The individual links are designed in different tones: dark bronze, brass and silver which gives a subtle contrast and a more vivid expression. The tsuka is wrapped with black ito over genuine stingray leather (samegawa), which gives both an exclusive appearance and a stable grip. Saya The saya is made of wood and covered in a deep, fiery red high-gloss lacquer that gives the sword a powerful and elegant expression. The mirror-like finish enhances the depth of the color while the natural structure of the wood can be subtly seen in the light. As a central decorative element, the saya is adorned with a dragon made in the traditional raden technique, an exclusive Japanese craft method in which thin fragments of genuine seashell are cut out by hand and set into the lacquer. After inlaying, the surface is carefully polished in several stages until the decoration is fully integrated into the lacquer, forming a smooth, glass-like finish. The result is a shimmering dragon whose iridescent tones change depending on how the light falls on the surface. The koiguchi, kurigata and kojiri are reinforced with black horn inlays , which both improves durability and highlights the sword's exclusive level. The combination of deep red lacquer, natural materials and the hand-inlaid raden decoration makes the saya an artistic centerpiece for the entire sword, as much a craft object as a functional part of the katana.
