Schodl: Pet Nat Rose (Austria)

This refreshing, easy-drinking non-vintage Pet Nat is a cuvée and, like everything at Schödl, it is naturally biodynamically farmed and hand-harvested. Bottled unfiltered and unsulphured, fully fermented to dryness in the bottle. This creates the fine, natural effervescence. 🍇 Pinot Noir & Zweigelt 🍷 Very clean nose, not very aromatic, with a predominantly citrusy-herbal character. Ripe lemon and mandarin peel, grape, lemon balm, and a hint of woodruff. On the palate, it’s incredibly refreshing. Lime and green grape with a hint of salt, chalky minerality, and a touch of light exotic notes. Totally delicate and lively with fine perlage, great juiciness, and a hint of kumquat bitterness in the finish. ABV 11.5%
