It features a substantial, U-shaped maple neck that delivers the feel and authority of a true early-1950s profile. Electronically, this partscaster is fitted with a matched set of Jonesy Blues pickups, including a 1950B bridge pickup and Kalamazoo-style neck pickup, both dated 2021. Together, they provide an expressive range of traditional T-style tones, from cutting bridge bite and dynamic twang to Keef-ish warm, rounded neck textures with impressive clarity and touch sensitivity. Premium supporting electronics include CTS and RS Guitarworks pots, CRL switching, and multiple high-quality capacitors mounted within a custom-routed control cavity designed to accommodate expanded wiring options. Additional character comes in the form of a slightly bent switch tip assembly in the spirit of Danny Gatton’s famously modified Telecasters, lending the guitar a subtle touch of road-worn personality.
