OST GOULDIAN FINCH NEST BOX Gouldian Finches in the wild prefer to nest deep within hollows of trees that can take over 80 years to form. The prefer deep hollows where they feel more secure in building their nests. This next box helps to mimic this behaviour by creating a seperate internal compartment in which the Gouldian has to pass a porch area before droping down into the darker nest site area. This prevents incuating birds from being able to look outside of the nest enterance so they feel more secure and increases breeding success. Has a detachable lid for nest inspections. Made of wood.
