Waterworks Education Hour: Orange Wine 201

Tuesday, April 28th, 6:30-7:45 PM Not for the orange wine agnostics! We are delighted to offer ORANGE WINE 201 for those who want to go deeper down the skin-contact rabbit hole; orange wine 101 not required! Together we'll explore questions like: where does white wine with skin contact end and an orange wine begin? Does more time on skins always translate into a more intense orange colour and intensity in the glass? What are phenolics and how do they give orange wine their distinctive structure? And as usual, explore traditions, regions, grapes, and flavours of orange wine to find out what YOU like. Orange wine is just as diverse as the world of whites or reds, so let's get to know them! Expect FIVE iconic and interesting orange wines and a thought-provoking session. All event tickets are non-refundable.
