Vintage journal, Brown worn leather with green leather spine, Gold tooled decoration. An Old Treasure

This old looking journal is made of vintage brown leather with patina and various marks from wear, as it belonged to an old handbag I bought many years ago in an antiques market. It has the charm of a book with history. The decoration of the cover features a gold line tooled around the edges and fleurons at the corners. The spine was covered in green leather and was tooled with gold foil and in blind, which creates a subtle yet rich contrast with the soft green of the spine. The journal measures 5x7.7 inches (12.5 x 19.5 cm). It has a total of 160 pages (320 sides) of Favini Laguna writing paper with parchment finish (90 gsm). This paper beautifully combines color and texture to give the perfect natural earthy background for your writing. It will hold well ink and dry media. The endpapers are made of marbled paper in green, white and brown tones. The headbands are hand sewn from black and gold threads. This journal has a lot of character.
