Domaine Charles Hugot, "La Forêt" Chablis 2024

A beautifully balanced Chablis that combines freshness with a slightly more rounded, generous feel thanks to some lees ageing. There's citrus and white blossom up front, followed by subtle tropical hints of just ripe pineapple and that classic Chablis signature note of oyster shell, flint and a light saline note. Drink now with seafood or goat's cheese, or put a few aside for a few years to develop a more savoury, flinty complexity.
