Katukina Cumaru

Katukina Cumaru is a traditional rapé blend prepared with Cumaru bark alongside tobacco & Cumaru tree ashes. Cumaru (Dipteryx odorata), the Amazonian Tonka tree, whose seeds and bark are known for their rich, warm and distinctly aromatic fragrance, often described as sweet, woody, resinous and lightly spiced. Across parts of the Amazon, Cumaru is regarded as a sacred and ceremonial plant, valued not only for its distinctive aroma but also for its place within traditional forest medicine and ritual practice. In rapé blends, it contributes a smooth, warming character that softens the sharper profile of the tobacco while adding depth and fragrance to the overall blend. This blend was prepared with the intention of supporting restful, inward-focused or dream-oriented practices within contemporary rapé traditions.
