NV Éric Taillet "Exclusiv 'T" Blanc de Meunier Brut, Champagne, Franc

A fourth-generation Grower Champagne, Eric Taillet has quickly become one of the region's champions of Meunier. Farming sustainably in the Vallee de la Marne and helping to elevate the grape from a simple blending varietal, to one that can stand on it's own. Eric's wines emphasize purity, texture, and site expression, all while maintaining the charm of Meunier. "Exclusiv T" is the epitome of these efforts, composed of 100% Meunier including a 20-30% portion of reserve wines from a perpetual reserve since 2011, which balances richness with precision. Aromas of ripe and baked orchard fruits (Red apples, Pears, Apricot), brioche, vanilla cream, all studded with dried white flowers such as magnolia and honeysuckle. The palate is broad, yet vivacious with it's fine mousse, and subtle pastry notes. A beautiful Grower Champagne that pairs wonderfully with food, in addition to it being an exceptional aperitif.
