Edward Wesson (1910-1983) Windsor Castle pen and ink with watercolour wash, signed Framed and glazed Overall dimensions including frame: 50 x 59 cm Edward Wesson was born in Blackheath, London, and specialised in coastal and rural views, townscapes and still life, applying his watercolour to damp paper ‘wet on wet’ which suited his style. He exhibited widely in the 1950s and 1960s, including at the Royal Academy.
