Thursday Culture Club

Do you want to try something new while unwinding with a brew? Join us at Walkden Library on the third Thursday of every month for a fun, social and relaxed session, where you can do something creative whilst having a chat. No need to book – just turn up and get involved as much or as little as you like. 18th June, 6-7pm – Samba. Expect Brazilian music, drumming playing instruments and sitting 16th July, 6-7pm – Playful Poetry. Expect chatter, reminiscence, sitting and writing 20th August, 6-7pm – Salford 100, museum objects and label writing 17th September, 6-7pm – Nature Poetry with poet Jane Smith. Expect listening, reading, word play and chatting These events are always free of charge and beginner-friendly. Hot drinks and biscuits provided!
