Plexiphon morphing reverb and multi-tap echo

Overview The Make Noise Soundhack Plexiphon is a stereo, modeless spatial texturizer that allows for continuously morphing between reverberations and multi-tap echoes. It specializes in creating a wide range of results that are neither strictly reverb nor echo, often highlighting and amplifying character previously hidden in the source material being processed. The core control, Plexus, simultaneously modulates the number of feedback paths in the algorithm and their entanglement. The Size of the paths determines their temporal relation, functioning as a "delay time" or "room size" at the extremes of Plexus. Diffuse and Color controls offer softening/sharpening or darkening/brightening effects over time. For stereo operation, Couple determines the degree to which the left and right sides are isolated or intermingled (from "dual mono" to fully interlaced stereo). Skew offers simultaneous inverse or tandem control of the left and right paths on the Plexus, Size, and Color parameters. The module also includes a Send gate input (normalled high, or patchable) for determining whether and when the input signal is fed into the Plexus, and an envelope follower at the CV output for re-integration into its own controls or elsewhere in a voltage-controlled system. The Plexiphon is built from entirely new code by Tom Erbe for Make Noise's newest digital hardware.
