SCUBA BOOK END

Handblown in clear glass by a master glassblower, Scuba is shaped with deliberate restraint. During the blowing process, the maestro introduces a single air bubble, carefully sealed within the molten glass. Suspended in the pristine transparency of the form, the bubble becomes a quiet focal point and a subtle reference to breath, depth, and movement held in time. Both functional and contemplative, Scuba serves as a glass bookend with presence and weight, while also standing confidently on its own as a sculptural object. Each piece is unique, bearing the subtle variations that are the hallmark of handblown glass. Designed by Marie-Rose Kahane.
