Domaine des Trottières ‘Clair de Lune’ Chenin Blanc (France)

A lovely and developed Chenin Blanc that provides heaps of value at this price! Notes of honey and apricot on the nose with delicate floral aromas. Soft and velvety on the palate with vibrant fruit flavours of pink lady apple, ripe pears and zippy citrus. Absolutely charming! The Lamotte family have been running Domaine des Trottières since 1985, but the estate has been producing wine for over a century! It lies in the fertile lands of Anjou in the Loire Valley. This would pair beautifully with a plate of soft cheese, oat biscuits and pear slices. It would also go well with green salads and light pasta dishes. Vintages may vary.
