The tail is formed from a natural agate in rich caramel and butterscotch tones, shaped into a half-moon to resemble a whale tail rising from the water. Above it sits a faceted tourmaline, followed by an upside-down teardrop golden rutile in the bail. At the top, two citrine stones and a copper bead complete the design, creating a warm, earthy palette that reflects the colors of the sandy coast. This piece was inspired by watching grey whales migrate along the Central Oregon Coast, something I experienced while spending time at Cape Perpetua. Seeing them surface and swimming with their calves is something I will never forget, and this design is my way of sharing that memory with you. Each stone is one of a kind and wrapped by hand in copper. This pendant is lightweight, comfortable, and designed to be worn daily.
