Armistice IPiñA 8% ABV 16oz Pina Colada Hazy Double IPA with pineapple, coconut, and milk sugar If you like piña coladas, then you might like this beer. Armistice started with a bad and juicy double IPA that would send you to the beaches of your mind even before we add the fruits of the equator. Citra hops paint an aromatic sunset of citrusy rind fruit and overripe passion fruit across your palate. When fermentation ebbs like a receding tide we add pureed pineapple, which leaves this beer with a permanent pectin haze and a taste of the tropics. Then we transfer it onto toasted coconut for a lotta colada. We lose a significant portion to the sponge-like coconut – that’s the island’s share. Maybe down the line we’ll figure out how to wring the beer out of the coconut for a malibrew with lattitude, but for now, if you’re not into yoga and prefer your tropics with grain, have a pint and escape.
