This pin celebrates the most popular sport worldwide. As one of the host cities for the World Cup 2026, Toronto is home to one the most diverse populations in the Americas. We celebrate a sport that only requires a ball and the desire to succeed, uniting peoples across the globe. Unity that we also build through our work as an Indigenous family. Samantha was born in Ibarra, Imbabura, Ecuador, and studied at the prestigious Academia de Bellas Artes, whose graduates have gone on to exhibit their work internationally.
