La Vieille Église ('The Old Church') is named after the legendary Romaneseque church in Cocumont, Bordeaux, built by Benedictine monks in the 11th century. Now abandoned, the listed heritage building has been entrusted to the Cave du Marmandais winery who make this wine in their neighbouring cellar. With a deep garnet colour, this blend of 50% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon reveals a nose of black fruits, toast and spice. The palate is rich, juicy and round, with elegant fine-grained tannins and an opulent, expressive nose. This wine is imported exclusively by Everyday Wine and is the best value Bordeaux in the country. We tasted this wine in France in February, was immediately impressed with it and promptly ordered a full container worth. We are totally convinced by this wine and you will be too! Appellation: AOC Bordeaux Rouge Cellar: Best enjoyed 2026-2031 Exclusively imported by Everyday Wine using a temperature-controlled refrigerated container
