EMERALD ESSENCE

EMERALD ESSENCE - a small, dark green twist pendant carved in New Zealand jade by Shaun Gardiner. Carved from an exceptional piece of dark kawakawa jade, this tiny, drop-shaped twist is impeccably formed—a miniature sculpture whose deep green glow proves that the most powerful beauty often arrives in the most delicate parcels. The twist design is locally called a 'Pikorua' and is a symbol of relationships. This is a very cool little pendant, carved with a flick in the tail and a lovely soft matte finish. We love the colour of the Jade, a wonderful deep green colour that is semi-transluscent when held to the light. The twist symbolises an unbreakable friendship, a bond that has no beginning and no end. It reflects the natural ebbs and flows that occur in any relationship without breaking the bond.
