Jacques-Frederic Mugnier Chambolle-Musigny 2018
A notably ripe yet still agreeably fresh nose speaks of red and dark currant, plum, violet and wafting spice wisps. The caressing, round and supple middle weight flavors tighten up considerably on the dusty, youthfully austere and solidly complex finish that exhibits very good length for a villages level wine. This moderately robust and youthfully austere effort is lovely if quite different from its 2019 counterpart. Burghound Outstanding!
