FACT SHEET Tasting Notes: Campbell grape, cacao nibs, blueberry, lavender Roasting: Medium Light Processing: Natural Breed: Native Processing Plant: Laresa Region: Gedeb, Gedeo Cultivation altitude: 2,150~2,200m BLUEBERRIES, CAMPBELL GRAPES, CACAO NIBS, LAVENDER From this coffee grown in the distant land of Ethiopia, you can distinctly sense the aroma of Campbell grapes, the most common grape variety in Korea. Behind the smooth, rich sip, you can detect the luscious fruit scent of blueberries and the fragrance of purple flowers reminiscent of lavender. The heavy sweetness and the distinctive aroma of the natural processing method bring to mind well-roasted cacao nibs. When enjoyed warm, it evokes the taste of honey or maple syrup. It is a truly high-quality Ethiopian natural coffee. If you enjoy it as iced drip coffee, you can savor a sweet yet refreshing taste, much like blueberry-flavored black tea. If you want to make your holiday a little more special, I recommend pairing it with a Korean melon salad. The crisp and sweet Korean melon blends with the bright purple fruit aroma of La Resa, allowing you to start your day on a pleasant note. Last January, our Bean Brothers team visited a company called Eftar, which owns the Laresa Washing Station. I remember giving them gifts such as notebooks, pens, and Post-it notes upon hearing the news that they had established a school. The coffees they let us taste were all excellent, and I am delighted to introduce Laresa's coffee once again, as we have only fond memories of it. Those who enjoyed the Ethiopia Laresa released last March have been continuously asking about whether it will be re-released. It seems to be a very welcome coffee not only for us but also for our customers. Back then, it was an anaerobic natural coffee, whereas this time it is a natural coffee; even though the processing method is different, the impression of the purple hue I felt back then still connects.
