Pounamu Hunting Knife: Svord Damascus Blade 9cm

Hand-carved from rare Flower pounamu, prized for the soft, blooming figure in the stone — paired with a Svord Alleima Damax blade and a brass guard. The Damascus-patterned stainless steel carries a flowing, rippled finish that's different on every blade, so the stone and the steel are each one of a kind. A collaboration between two masters, each with over 40 years' experience: Bryan Baker, who makes his Svord blades in Waiuku, south of Auckland, hardened and tempered in-house, and our carver Lee-Roy Mullings (Ngāti Kahungunu), who has shaped pounamu in his Arrowtown workshop for four decades.
